Dave Bolland Golf Classic:
The Dave Bolland Foundation is coming back to the Greater Toronto Area with the 2nd Annual Golf Classic in support of The Remix Project . On July 27th at the prestigious Angus Glen Golf Club, the Blackhawk’s #36 will return to the links with some of his closest friends in Hockey, Movies, Television and Comedy.
Last August, Dave teamed up with Toronto the based charity for his inaugural Dave Bolland Golf Classic. With guest players like Kelly Gruber, Kevin Weekes, Ben Eager and Dave himself, the tournament was a great success. With the help 150 players, over 20 sponsors and 40 volunteers Dave helped raise over $40,000 for Remix.
With only 148 Golf spots available, the event is quickly selling out but there is still time left. For $300 per player or $1000 per foursome you can join in on this highly anticipated and very special first time event.
The day will begin with Lunch & Registration at noon and a shotgun start at 1:30pm. Your player fee includes lunch, golf cart, green fees, dinner and gifts. A live and silent auction will accompany dinner. We have a number of surprise guests coming out for the day and we can say in all honesty that THIS will be the golf tournament you never forget and do not wantto miss out on being a part of.
Stanley Cup Party:
On September 3rd 2010, Dave Bolland brought the Stanley Cup to his home city of Toronto. He spent the day visiting local businesses, schools, police stations, hockey arena’s and friends and families houses. At night he held a party at Muzik Night Club in downtown Toronto. The party was also a fundraiser for local charity The Remix Project (www.theremixproject.ca) and raised over $5000 for the charity!
